About Our Camps

This will be three of the most comprehensive and enjoyable days of umpire training available.  Your training will include the latest rule interpretations, mechanics, and procedures used in baseball today.  We will help you adapt these professional techniques into your personal level of umpiring.  Special attention will be given to proper angle and distance positioning, timing problems, understanding balks and handling conflict and confrontation.  Classroom instruction will include an insightful and practical survey of the rule book accompanied by open discussion.  Your personal plate stance will be evaluated and suggestions will be given to improve your perception of the strike zone.  We will discuss the most popular plate stance used today and present its advantages and disadvantages. This will be three days of intensive baseball umpire training that will be designed to improve each umpires opportunity to move into higher levels of officiating.  Each umpire will be given the opportunity to work in game situations geared toward increasing their level of experience.  A list of those in attendance will be given to the state high school and college assignors and the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association to identify potential umpires for assignments.  With All-AmericanUmpires.com coordinating the presents of professional umpire school instructors and the areas top College officials, along with The Lone Star Conference & The Sooner Athletic Conference we feel this camp has become the greatest opportunity ever, from mexico to canada, throughout the central united states for all umpires to take part in an outstanding weekend of training to gain leadership, insight, confidence, and values in: BASEBALL the game we love.
